Fairfax Holiday Craft Show
November 16-17, 2013. Fairfax High School, 3500 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, Virginia. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission: $5, children under 18 are free. Belvoir Officers' Spouses' Club Craft Show
2013 Dates to Be Announced, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. George Mason University Field House. Ox Road and University Drive, Fairfax, Virginia. Admission: $3 single or $8 for families. The event features more than 100 craft vendors, handcrafted items, entertainment, a scavenger hunt, kids games and a visit from Ole Saint Nick! Santa will visit from 11am-1pm and the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office will provide Child ID services. Tysons Corner Center Holiday Market New this year!
December 13-15, 2013. Located at Tysons Corner Center directly in front of Panera Bread, Chipotle and Elevation Burger, the festival will be on the roadway between the parking garage and the main entrances to Nordstrom and the “Café Corridor. Inspired by the traditional German Christmas Markets, the event will include 30 vendors plus a spectacular Christmas tree, entertainment, beer garden and other festive activities. Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Sugarloaf Craft Festivals

December 13-15, 2013. Dulles Expo Center, Chantilly, Virginia. Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum Touches Down on It's First Decade

In 2003 the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum opened a companion facility, the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, on the property of Washington Dulles International Airport in Chantilly, Virginia. This new museum provides a second location, about half an hour's drive from Washington, DC, to display the space shuttle Discovery, the Lockheed SR-71 and numerous aircraft, spacecraft and other artifacts that the Smithsonian's National Mall location is unable to accommodate. 

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center provides dramatic views of an aerobatic airplane hot-dogging upside down, World War II fighters angling for a victory or numerous engines, rockets, satellites, gliders, helicopters, airliners, ultra-lights and experimental flying machines. Watch air traffic leaving from and arriving to Washington Dulles International Airport from the 164-foot Donald D. Engen Observation Tower. The tower displays air traffic control equipment that replicates those used in an operating airport control tower. 

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center doors are open 10 a. m. to 5:30 p.m. seven days a week. Admission is free, however public parking is $15. The center has an IMAX theater and offers flight simulator rides for a fee. There is a cafeteria and a museum store.
